My Dad was born in Palermo in 1903 and came to America when he was 3 or 4. He always wanted to go back and never had the opportunity. I'm 1st generation American, but a true Italian at heart. I know I still have relatives back there that I've never even met. I was named Gaetano after my Grandfather. Our family name is Apollo. I know that's pretty common in Italy. I wish someday I could visit and do what my Dad didn't have a chance to do.
This is the city that has the huge water slide going into Sea. It is the #1 reason I went there. It is too cold now, but it is awesome to see for sure.
