You can breathe a sigh of relief at the moment then JP, I expect you saw it but just in case you or other people didn't, at the press conference last night, which was late as most things are in the Canaries, the president announced they were putting off making masks mandatory even if you can socially distance, but intend trying to enforce the current measures first. Good luck with that, as far as I see it is mostly being disregarded. I read comments on social media and most locals who contributed are not happy the law isn't being changed. Want to take a bet on when they will change their mind?
Hi JP, my 2nd spiritual home looking better all the time. Earliest booking for the Cotillo Beach hotel is October with Jet2 so that's going to have an impact on the town. Worryingly, tui have pulled everything from east midlands for 2020 and I'm booked in Dec for Correlejo, cheers

Love El Cotillo and as others say nice to see more people about….Aqauyre was our refreshment stop on our last visit very good…..told myself earlier today I need to stop watching Fuerte and Lanza videos cos it''s making me annoyed we can't come at the moment but I can't resist watching, Thank you for keeping us up to date.

JP, regarding wind, and I know it changes a lot according to each island spot, how would you generally classify the whole island? Out of each 10 days, how many you would classify as uncomfortably windy?
You'll have to get one of those stringy things that go on the glasses arms, so you can hang them around your neck like librarians have. Actually… I need some!! I'm constantly swooping my glasses around!

Loved my time here in February just before lockdown. Enjoyed sitting at the Aguayre having a coffee taking in the beautiful views. Great to see things are slowly getting back to normal тЭдя╕П
