Thanks to you,for you I am able to get a glimpse of other countries,so many things to explore, beautiful landscapes, instead of scrolling down social media,I think it's better to see the beauty and culture of so many places

At Culloden it’s important to understand that is not a battle between Scotland and England, this was a civil war. The clans fought on both the Jacobite and government sides, as did many English people. The Jacobites were also supported by French and Irish troops.

Inverness is a convenient base for the Highlands but an afternoon in the city itself is probably sufficient as a tourist. The Riverside is lovely and the walk from the harbour along the canal is nice too. Some nice pubs and restaurants and a generally laid back atmosphere. Although it is admittedly a little 'dishevelled', I don't think it's a great beauty, it is quite a thriving small city and has all the services you need of a rural centre. A visit to Nairn is worthwhile on a sunny day, or as an alternative base for a holiday. Atmospheric seaside town twenty minutes east with a long sandy beach, access to the beautiful Culbin forest and nature sanctuaries up to Findhorn. Great for swimming about 4 days a year! Ideal area to explore if you're a cyclist. Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle and the Cairns mentioned in the video all reached via country routes within about half an hour's biking from Nairn, with Speyside also in shooting distance if you're feeling fit! I also recommend the train ride down to Kyle Of Lochalsh in the North Western Highlands. On a clear day maybe the most scenic train route in Britain. You can travel onto Skye from there (not to be missed, but deserves at least a couple of days), or have a day cycling round to the extremely picturesque area around Plockton. I really enjoyed your videos on Italy (my own favoured holiday destination), and it's lovely to see the area where I actually live getting the same enthusiastic treatment. Haste ye back!
